What is SNOWCAMPS?
Finding the right top notch Christian event for your Junior High student isn't easy. The experience has got to be something they will enjoy, yet one that still moves beyond the fun and games to challenge and encourage them in their Christian faith. This highly concentrated experience is jam-packed with games, discussions, talks, singing and lots of new and different fun and crazy activities. Our goal is for Junior high students to see, hear, and feel that Christ loves them and wants them to know the joy of living life to the fullest! SNOWCAMPS is brought to you by C.A.M.P.S (Christ As My Personal Savior). The C.A.M.P.S youth ministry team has a 40 year history of providing creative, spiritual growth events for youth. Our SNOWCAMPS team includes youth ministers, adults, and high school youth from a multitude of parishes who know how to communicate a real-life Christian faith to kids - and they do it with an encouraging spirit and honest enthusiasm.
Quick Facts
- SNOWCAMPS is designed for 7th, 8th graders (9th graders are eligible if they have never been to CAMPS/SNOWCAMPS before)
- Snowcamps Weekend Date: March 1-3, 2024
- $215.00 per camper covers the entire cost of SNOWCAMPS including meals, lodging, snacks, and all activities. (No meal Friday evening)
- Bus transportation available
About Camp Brookwoods in Alton, NH
CAMPS has been blessed to be able to call Camp Brookwoods our home to SNOWCAMPS since 1987. The steady, professional leadership of Brookwoods Conference Director, George Bowling and team provides outstanding hospitality a spotless facility, fantastic food and hot chocolate, warm, clean beds and baths, a tubing hill and several recreational/game rooms. An inviting lodge with large fireplace is the centerpiece of the camp and the place where much of the SNOWCAMPS experience takes place. We are proud to be able to host SNOWCAMPS at what we believe is the best run, outstanding camp site in New England.
